ABOUT SCOTT KEGLEY, LPC

Education

I earned a Bachelor's  degree in Communication and Psychology at Radford University and a Master's degree in Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

 

Experience

I have been providing clinical mental health support services since 2016. My experiences include working in community crisis, acute psychiatric hospitalizations, group therapies, and providing outpatient therapy to individual and family therapies. I have also volunteered with Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) providing supportive services to families.

 

Philosophy of Practice

I believe that no matter where we are in life, life still happens. I am here to assist in your life journey to overcome anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD issues, PTSD, relationship struggles, and improve overall health and wellness. I am an enthusiast of perspectives and communication. I truly believe in the power of mind body connection: They work together synergistically to achieve balance in life.
